Codes and conventions of TV comedy sketch shows:

• Each episode is around half an hour long. 
• All of the episodes use the same structure.
• They have character-based sketches.
• There is a variety of drama sketches.
• A lot of repetition is used through-out all the episodes.
• In the episodes they usually have catchphrases, parodies and slapsticks.
• There is also transgressive humor used.
